As a former dreary clinker block with unassuming entrance areas, the houses in Ueckerstraße were unattractive and dull. When redesigning the building shell, a new concept was developed for the entrance and interior areas. Now they are light, with a pleasant colorfulness, meaning that they have retained a texture and radiate an easy elegance. The entrance areas are designed to be clearly visible and have also been made suitable for the elderly. A well coordinated color selection between the different components, paired with consistent lines between the floors and the balcony rows, gives the building structures a personality.
