Glazing technique Creativ Viviato 72 - Wiping technique flowing color gradients 3c03

This technique is taken from watercolor painting and is used as a multi-colored wiping technique for uniform color gradients. In multiple decorating steps, the glazes are combined from semi-opaque to almost transparent and applied in a specified direction.

Step 1

For the base filling, Creativ Granulato 71 is applied with the Stainless Steel Trowel 3792.

Step 2

Application with the Surface Block Brush Extra 1210 creates a finely textured surface. The specified horizontal direction is adapted to the overall appearance that is to be achieved.

Step 3

An emulsion glaze is applied with the Paint Brush Fine Liner, flat 1203 as a fine separation.

Step 4

The roughly applied line is formed with a Flat Paint Brush1327 to create an even, fine and slightly curved horizontal line.

Step 5

The blue tone already applied in the upper area is supplemented with turquoise and light gray. The glaze is applied with the Paint Brush Fine Liner, round 1239 in loose distribution.

Step 6

The color shades are textured into each other with the Flat Paint Brush 1327.

Step 7

For particularly harmonious color transitions, subsequent uniform distribution and smoothing is required in horizontal direction.

Step 8

For a subtly colored sun background, the glaze film is aftertreated with the Short Fiber Small Roller 1219.

Step 9

The clouds can be created with the Paint Brush Fine Liner, flat 1203.

Step 10

The intensive yellow of the sun disk is given an authentic coloring by the re-coating with white glaze.
