Glazing technique Creativ Vivalin Facade Glaze 866 – Glazing technique for exterior use 3c09

Glazes can also be used for facade designs. Creativ Vivalin Facade Glaze 866 is a professional product for efficient use of glazing techniques in exterior areas. However, creative designs for facade surfaces place particular demands on the material and application technique if a uniform, coherent look on the facade is to be achieved. Frequently, there is a problem resulting from that fact that scaffolding levels are often visible due to material overlapp. This is avoided with Creativ Vivalin Facade Glaze 866 in the specially developed application technique for exterior use. This emulsion glaze is suitable for use on coated render and concrete surfaces.

Step 1

The first application of the diluted glaze takes place on a coordinated color shade, fleck-like in propeller shape. Every 3 flecks are joined in short strokes. These shapes are intermeshed across the entire facade surface without overlapping.

Step 2

After sufficient drying, more material is applied in patches and overlapped in the remaining free spaces so that these free spaces exhibit a uniform, cloudy look.

Step 3

In the next step, other shapes – as described above – are applied offset to the first work step.

Step 4

The lightest areas on the facade surface are applied in patches as described under 2. and closed in a cloudy look.

Step 5

A light cloudy, large-surface effect is created that can also extend beyond the scaffolding levels.
