Emulsion-based effect technique Wrapping / Stamping technique 4c01

The traditional wrapping technique with emulsion paints was originally developed as an alternative to wallpaper. Today, it is exactly the opposite: The wrapping technique is a more high-quality alternative to industrially produced wall coverings. Individual, lively surfaces are created depending on the textiles used for the paint application, e.g. jute, linen or synthetic materials. For the implementation, a piece of cloth is first moistened with emulsion paint and then folded into a ball and rolled over the surface. The so-called damask effect is created by using coating materials with different degrees of gloss.
