Hotel Domizil, Tübingen

The Hotel Domizil in Tübingen has impressed visitors for over 30 years with its unique location directly on the banks of the river Neckar. The hotel has set accents with the consistent redesign of all rooms, including the 79 guest rooms.

The interior designer’s work is characterized by an elegant composition of color and harmony: on an area of over 4,000 square meters, they implemented a holistic concept based on a bright prevailing mood. The focus was on redesigning the rooms and restructuring the entrance and restaurant area – all in an authentic, modern design language. 

The interior design creates a special atmosphere that reflects the environment and the inner values of the hotel. The colorful rooms offer a sense of vibrant effortlessness and have been meticulously designed and executed with an attention to detail.

Aqueous blue and mossy green as recurring colors on the walls, in furniture and in textiles reference the river. At the same time, they meet the guest’s need for peace and security, along with other cozy colors and carefully selected materials.

A clear design language and a variable lighting concept underline the open and embracing feeling of the rooms. Delicate objects fill the communal and private spaces. The entire interior design makes being in the room feel like experiencing a gesture of hospitality.
