The project “Mauer Stadtpark Mitte” shows how artistic design can make a park wall in urgent need of renovation into a visually appealing entrance. The technique used by “Strauss & Hillegaart” has different associations. When seen from further afield, the trees and branches are recognizable, the surface of the wall is visibly connected to the trees behind. When walking along the sidewalk, the observer can see the interplay of abstract lines in light and dark gray tones. The wall, measuring almost 100 meters long, therefore has a changeable appearance, that also alters depending on the sun and the shadow filtering through the trees in the park. The city park serves as a place of rest and relaxation for those living in the area. Thanks to this artistic restoration, the right way to enclose it has been found.
