The Leopoldine wing is one of the biggest and oldest parts of the Hofburg Palace in Vienna. With its early baroque facade from the 1660-1667, it has been the base of the Austrian Federal President since 1946. The coloring for this object was developed in cooperation with the BDA (Federal Monuments Office). With two color shades, the design was kept subtle to ensure that the extensively structured facades of this object do not look too dominant. The courtyard shines in a bright yellow. Although almost nothing remains from the original appearance – the special atmosphere of a long history is retained.
