The facade of a building is much more than a protective, functional outer shell. And the facade of Lammer Fruchtlogistik GmbH is no exception. As a visual flagship, the commercial building determines the external impact of the company and shapes its surroundings. Flawless facades were the goal: with the all-round spray paint Ratiospray 2170 from Brillux, painter Peter Wiener made the logistics company’s “business card” presentable again.
Over the years, weather, dirt and scratches had taken their toll on the commercial building of Lammer Fruchtlogistik GmbH, a specialist in fruit and vegetable storage: a refresh was necessary. In addition, a small extension was added to the building and the color of the old facade had to be matched to the new one.
So the company contacted its painter, Peter Wiener. Wiener and Heimo Lammer, Managing Director of Lammer Fruchtlogistik, have been working hand in hand for many years. “This is a business relationship that works. The coating of the commercial building is just one of many painting projects together,” says Wiener.
Together with Wiener, Benjamin Quelle, sales consultant at Brillux in Graz, was looking for a suitable coating for the coil coating panels. “After creating a test area and a crosshatch adhesion test on the facade, it was clear to us that our new product Ratiospray 2170 was exactly the right one for this project,” says Quelle. The simple application on large surfaces was the deciding factor for the spray paint.
Lammer Fruchtlogistik’s color preferences for the almost 1,000 square meter area were anthracite gray and gray beige. Master painter Wiener drove around the property with a lifting platform – otherwise the work would not have been possible due to the large surface area. Although he had to cross some soft and uneven substrates, he was able to coat all facade surfaces quickly and easily using the airless spray technique.
Within a few days, Wiener had completely painted the commercial building of Lammer Fruchtlogistik. Thanks to a high-quality acrylate bonding agent and the use of light-resistant pigments, Ratiospray will retain its original color on the commercial building facade for a long time.
