Reference project: Villa Viva, Hamburg
Villa Viva is much more than just a trendy design hotel with a stylish rooftop bar in Hamburg’s Münzviertel district. It is the physical embodiment of the Viva con Agua initiative. Together with Heimathafen Hotels, a place has been created here that connects art, hospitality and social engagement. The proceeds support drinking water projects around the world, based on the clear principle: water for everyone.
Designed as a lively public space, the Villa Viva restaurant brings together expressive art and holistic sustainability. Artists from all over the world have helped design Villa Viva. From the ground floor to the roof, individual art rooms and large murals have been created. The public spaces resemble a gallery that also encourages social interaction.
The guest rooms also reflect the desire to offer everyone the right space for them: some rooms are kept unobtrusive in calm color shades – others celebrate the creative spirit of the building and are bursting with color. Villa Viva thus unites cultural diversity, social issues and creative design under one roof – a powerful statement for a new kind of hotel.
