Further information
Around 150 guests celebrated the nominees and the best of the international Brillux Design Award at a special gala at the LWL Museum for Art and Culture in Münster. The people recognized shared a total of €25,000 in prize money for outstanding interior and facade designs.
An independent jury selected the winners from over 500 submissions from Poland, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Germany and honored those responsible for the projects in various categories as well as a special prize.
The history
Although the Brillux Design Award was only presented for the first time in 2019, it has a 25-year history, as it emerged from the German Facade Award. Between 1991 and 2016, the award winners demonstrated how colored facade design can improve the quality of life in public spaces. With the international realignment as the Brillux Design Award, the standard in design and workmanship has been raised even further. Be inspired by the projects: here you can find detailed information about the winners since 2012 as well as overviews of the winners from previous years.
