Nadine, an architect, found the dream house for her family after a house swap in Hamburg. Thanks to an energy-efficient renovation and a modern interior and color concept, the home now looks like new.

“And then I said to her, honestly more or less as a joke: we could swap. And two weeks later she got in touch!”

Staircase
Nadine didn’t have a finished concept for the staircase for a long time. The old steps were glued with carpet; two entrances made everything dark and cramped. After dismantling everything with the painting professionals, new ideas started to bubble up.

Exterior
Nadine planned an energy-efficient renovation for the nearly 100-year-old house from the outset. With new insulation and a modern heating system, it’s ready for the years ahead! New windows that let in a lot of light make the picture perfect. This old build has arrived in the modern age!

The entrance is bright and friendly, but also very stylish thanks to the dark-painted staircase and front door. Anyone who arrives here feels right at home!

First, the stair railing was worked on with great attention to detail.
