Incredible, but true: up to 50% of the heating energy can escape through an uninsulated roof or attic, even if the roof slopes meet minimum insulation standards. The greatest insulation potential lies in the ceiling or attic above, as the concrete ceiling or wooden beam layer is often insulated poorly or not at all.
Our Attic Insulation Boards 3818 and 3819 are the simple and quick solution for effective attic insulation. They eliminate thermal bridges and can be used as dry screed elements with normal foot traffic. This significantly improves the thermal insulation standard. In addition, the insulation boards for the attic are ideal as a basis for immediate or later use of the roof space.
Attic Insulation Boards 3818 and 3819 consist of pressure-resistant, expanded polystyrene hard foam in accordance with EN 13163, combined with particle boards in grade V 100.
