Nobody wants to live and work in spaces that are bad for the health. That’s why our range of products meets the highest environmental and health standards for almost every interior application. And, of course, always at the highest level of quality.
Free from preservatives
Some people are allergic to preservatives in emulsions, for example. Some people simply want to play it safe in children’s rooms, bedrooms and living spaces and avoid anything that might be harmful. Others, however, don’t want to do without beautiful colors.
Our range of interior emulsions meets the requirements for a room climate that is as unpolluted as possible for healthy interior design.
The absence of preservatives is a particular advantage, especially in sensitive areas such as children’s rooms, bedrooms and living spaces. With our high-quality, health-conscious emulsions, you also have full freedom in color design accents.
Free from solvents
Almost all of our emulsions are low-emission, solvent-free and plasticizer-free. They are therefore ideal for use in living and working spaces or in sensitive environments such as daycare centers, schools and hospitals.
AgBB test sets standards
“Ausschuß zur gesundheitlichen Bewertung von Bauprodukten” (AgBB, German Committee for Health-Related Evaluation of Building Products), whose committee members include the German Environment Agency, has developed a standardized assessment matrix for emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC) for building products in residential and public spaces.
The “chamber test” is the basis for this matrix: emissions of volatile organic compounds are measured in a sample at different intervals.
EN 71-3: Safety of toys
Children need special protection – also in living areas, including when playing. That’s why our aromatics-free and water-based products comply with EN 71-3, the Toy Directive. They are
- Resistant to saliva and hand perspiration
- Suitable for coating children’s toys
Lacryl-PU: maximum health-compatibility and consistent environmental protection
With our water-based paints, woodstains and prime coats in the Lacryl-PU range, we meet all requirements of the “Blue Angel” ecolabel.
“Blue Angel”: healthy and environmentally conscious living
This eco-label is only allowed for products that have a particularly low pollutant content or contain recycled materials – such as the Ecotop ETIC system or Brillux woodchip.
The needle felt qualities are not only extremely robust and versatile textile floor coverings, they also impress with their low-emission properties and therefore carry the “Blue Angel”.
The healthy products in our paints and woodstains range: Lacryl varnishes, glazes and prime coats. The coatings combine healthy interiors with attractive color design. They are also characterized by high quality and durability.
Brillux Lacryl corresponds to the latest state of research and meets all requirements of the eco-label – for maximum health compatibility and consistent environmental protection.
