Professional coating

Corrosion? No chance!

Highly durable, excellent static properties: metal is a versatile building material, but very susceptible to corrosion. That’s why protection that lasts and can withstand a lot is so important. Here we show you which solutions are available for the long-term protection of metal surfaces, the different requirements of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal (e.g. zinc), and which different coating build-ups are necessary.

How to protect ferrous metals

Corrosion protection is essential when it comes to ferrous metals. And that starts with the correct pretreatment of the substrate. You can rely on our thick-layer corrosion protection system to ensure that nothing at all gets through, even under the highest demands. It is suitable for iron and steel components in exterior areas and naturally complies with all requirements of the DIN EN ISO 12944 standard.

Well protected from the ground up

These three prime coats also provide long-lasting protection of metals against corrosion, from the very first layer. They are suitable for exterior and interior application and are perfect for everyday use.

How to protect non-ferrous metals

Non-ferrous metals generally already have good protection against corrosion: for example, a zinc overcoat. But that doesn’t last forever. Or do you want to give the component a touch of color? The solution: a coating that adheres optimally to the zinc surface.

Old coatings: thorough testing is the best pretreatment

You should exercise particular caution when working with a workshop primer or coil coating. To prevent flaking despite careful inspection, you should always match the new coating to the existing coating and carry out a test coat if necessary.
