Detached houses/apartment buildings

Reference project: residential complex, Bergisch Gladbach
Before renovation, the long apartment buildings in Bergisch Gladbach looked rather monotonous: the aging ochre-colored paint gave them a stark, utilitarian appearance. The necessary concrete restoration presented an opportunity to improve not only the building fabric but also the overall appearance. The solution: a bold color gradient that adds a sense of lightness and warmth.
Working closely together, the architectural firm, painting contractor and Brillux Color Studio in Münster developed a carefully coordinated color concept. The facades now feature soft pastel shades from the yellow and red color ranges, creating a gradient reminiscent of a sunset and transforming functional buildings into striking, emotionally engaging landmarks.
The new color scheme, applied using Adhesion Primer 3720 and Concrete Finish 839, creates a welcoming atmosphere not only for passersby but especially for the residents themselves. The once austere architecture now radiates a sense of joy and proves that color can do more than improve appearances; it can transform the places where people live for the better.
Seven carefully coordinated colors, one cohesive concept: the color gradient was developed by the Brillux Color Studio in Münster. The new color scheme gives the buildings emotional depth and a sense of lightness.
The special Concrete Finish 839 coating, applied over Adhesion Primer 3720, not only significantly improved the appearance but also helped protect the building itself over the long term.
