The new Thalasso Meeres Spa is spread over two floors and is located immediately next to the water. Sea water, natural mud, algae and sea buckthorn – the spa focuses on the local remedies of the North Sea. Great care has been taken here to create an authentic place where body, mind and nature are in harmony.
The interior design draws inspiration from the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site – reflecting its tranquility, expansiveness and softness. Warm, monochrome colors and natural materials define the design. Soft shapes, indirect light and distinct surface textures create flowing transitions. Every space looks like a continuation of the landscape – unobtrusive, calming and clear.
Reduced to the essentials – that is the design maxim. The architecture makes the path to nature tangible: original, simple and pure. This makes the spa more than just a place of therapy. It becomes an experience space designed with care and respect for the power of the sea. A peaceful hub that makes the North Sea a place to experience with all the senses.
Fine wood accents and indirect light complement the appearance. Various surface textures with distinct tactile qualities, achieved using creative and filling techniques, set individual areas apart from one another.
