Curved, clear, full of character
Where a savings bank forecourt once stood, a new residential building was created alongside the existing building of the converted bank, blending seamlessly into the established surroundings of Bad Honnef. The triangular shape of the site was carefully incorporated into the design, with a striking rounded end to the building that enhances both the cityscape and the streetscape.
Material and shape in harmony
Render strips textured using a combing technique based on Mineral Lightweight Render G 3679, rendered surfaces and tiles – the finely coordinated facade design and colorfulness combine craftsmanship with clear architectural language. The interplay of vertical and horizontal elements emphasizes the dynamic form of the building and echoes the lines of the existing structure.
