In this way, we provide planning certainty, enable targeted product selection and, together with our partners, contribute to sustainable buildings with certified quality. Brillux is consistently investing in the expansion of photovoltaic systems at our sites. The goal: to significantly increase self-sufficiency with renewable energy and reduce CO₂ emissions. Photovoltaics are already standard in our new buildings, and existing buildings are retrofitted accordingly during renovations. Most of the energy generated is used directly on site, while surpluses flow into the public grid.

With the introduction of an energy management system in accordance with EN ISO 50001, Brillux has created a binding framework for measurably increasing energy efficiency and using resources in a sustainable way. The goal is to continuously reduce energy consumption through technical optimizations, informed employees and efficient processes. The certification requires us to conduct regular audits, set measurable goals and define clear responsibilities.
