Certain color shades - such as from the green and violet ranges - are only used in architecture to a very limited extent. In Scala, these colors are included in compact, practical color families.

Important color areas, however, including blue, yellow and certain reds, have been extended by introducing vibrant color shades. In addition, historic color nuances which are important for colorful architectural elements have been added to the Brillux Scala range as well as the RAL Classic colors except for the nacreous luster and daylight luminous paint color shades.
